囗语练习游戏 - 简单问题 Simple Questions
|
Sometimes the hardest thing about practicing English by talking to foreign
guests whom you don't know is to start. Here are a few simple exercises that you can do to
at least get started. All you need to do in each is ask one question and listen to
the answer. You don't need to continue the conversation.
- 问时间 Ask for the time
-
The following are listed from easier to harder. Start with a question that
you are comfortable with. Do it with a few people. Once you are more
confident, do a longer sentence/question - but don't ask the same person
these questions!
- "Sorry! What time is it?"
- "Excuse me! What time is it?"
- "Excuse me! Can you tell me the time please?"
After you get the answer, say "thank you".
- 问路 Ask for directions

- "Sorry! Where's the foreign teachers dorm?"
- "Excuse me! Where's the foreign teachers dorm?"
- "Excuse me! Can you tell me where's the foreign teachers dorm?"
(Technically, the grammar of this question is wrong, but westerners often
say it in conversational English.)
After you get the answer, say "thank you".
